Laser Hair Removal

Permanent reduction of excessive hair from all areas of the body

Less hair, more confidence

When it comes to removing unwanted hair, there are several methods available, including shaving, waxing, and tweezing — all of which can leave the skin scarred and irritated. Ageless Med Spa’s GentleMAX system is a highly effective, non-invasive procedure that can help individuals of all skin and hair types achieve silky smooth and hairless skin. We can remove unwanted hair virtually anywhere on your body, including the face, chest, back, underarm, legs, and bikini line.

How it works

Laser hair removal works by targeting the hair follicle with an intense, highly concentrated burst of light. This intense light heats the hair follicle to a controlled temperature, destroying the follicle without damaging the skin or surrounding tissues, and ultimately disabling future hair growth.

Preparing for the procedure

Since the laser targets the root of the hair, it must be intact for the treatment to be effective. We advise you not to wax, tweeze, or use depilatories prior to your procedure. Shaving is the only form of hair removal recommended. On the day of the treatment, have the area thoroughly cleansed, and the hair shaved and trimmed.

Possible side effects

As the GentleMAX system was designed with clients’ comfort in mind, side effects from laser hair removal at Ageless Med Spa are extremely minimal. At most, you may experience minor discomfort, swelling, and redness in the treatment area, all of which will gradually subside within 24 hours.

With the use of the extremely versatile and minimally invasive GentleMAX laser, almost anyone can undergo this procedure, as the laser can be safely used on all skin types. However, candidates with skin types I–IV typically see the best results. You can complete the Fitzpatrick Scale questionnaire to determine your skin type.
